Mangalore: Lights Come On For Dasara Festivities

The 10-day long ‘Navarathri Utsav’, popularly known as ‘Mangalore Dasara’, will commence at the famous Sri Kudroli Gokarnanatha Kshetra on Friday October 8.

On the eve of the festivities, the route along which the procession will pass through at the end of the festival has been illuminated. With this, the city has geared up for Dasara festivities. Organizers found it easier to light up the roads as rain slackened in the city on Thursday October 7.
